Now in Lorton: California Tortilla (And Free Burritos for a Year?!)

Lorton's newest business is giving way free burritos Friday — and 20 people will get free burritos for a year.

Two things to like here: An alternative to the burger rut and free food.

The "fast-casual" restaurant chain California Tortilla is celebrating its Lorton opening Friday with a "Cutting of the Burrito" at its new location at 9447 Lorton Market Street.

"Cal Tort" wants you to give them a try, which can cost you exactly zero dollars. All customers that visit the new location on Friday, Nov. 8, will be treated to one free burrito and a drink from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There's more: the first 20 people in line that morning will each receive a Burrito Elito loyalty card good not just for one free burrito, but for one free burrito each week — for a year.

The Lorton location will be the first to introduce Yo! Tort, California Tortilla’s new soft-serve frozen yogurt.
