Lorton's IHOP Expected to Open in October
The former home of the Polo Grill has been gutted.
The incoming International House of Pancakes at 7784 Gunston Plaza will open this fall - instead of this summer.
IHOP bought the former home of the Polo Grill last November and originally anticipated an earlier opening.
"I'm sure it's just usual construction delays. There's a lot that goes into building a restaurant," said IHOP spokesman Craig Hoffman to Patch. "It should be open by the end of October."
