Have You Been to the Lorton's Meadowood Barn?

Got a horse? There's space to rent at the Meadowood Barn in Lorton.
The barn, 10406 Gunston Rd., is part of the Bureau of Land Management's Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area and offers riding lessons, horse boarding, therapeutic riding and school visits. 

The barn will eventually be renovated, but the timeline is not set in stone. Federal sequestration has slowed the process and millions set aside for the project are in question. 

But until that development occurs, and it could take over a year to get off the ground, the barn is renting out for boarders.
