Fort Belvoir To Open Giant Exchange Store

Charlie's, Taco Bell and Burger King will be accompanied by Starbucks, Subway, Popeye's, Pizza Hut and more.

Fort Belvoir will unveil it's newest completed project on Wednesday - the 270,000 square foot exchange that will house every retail store on post.

You'll still be able to go to Charlie's, Taco Bell and Burger King, and the restaurants will be accompanied by Starbucks, Subway, Popeye’s and Pizza Hut. The total number of shops has increased from 10 to 22.

The event will kick of at 9:30 and will be commemorated by Belvoir Commander Col. Gregory Gadson, Exchange CEO Tom Shull and Nildy Eiley, the Fort Belvoir Exchange General Manager.

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is tasked with providing service members goods at low prices and funding military morale, welfare and recreation programs.

The hours of the Exchange will remain the same: Mon-Fri 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Sat. 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
