Black Friday 2013: Fairfax Parks Authority Offers Children's Programs in McLean, Alexandria

The Fairfax County Parks Authority has two facilities where you can drop off your kids while you shop.

By Jason Spencer

The Fairfax County Parks Authority has announced two locations with children's programming on Black Friday to help make your shopping odyssey a little less stressful.

"A successful shopping strategy includes waiting in long lines for stores to open and jostling for position at checkout counters," according to the authority. "Patience, focus, split-second reactions – this is no place for children."
