US Navy Band 'Country Current' at the Workhouse Saturday Night

You ready for some bluegrass?

On Saturday night, the seven-member United States Navy Band "Country Current" will be filling the Lorton air with their country-bluegrass sounds.

The band has played for every U.S. president since it was formed in 1973, and, last year, was the first-ever military band to play at the South by Southwest music festival.

"Country Current performs regularly for the president, vice president, the secretary of the Navy, the chief of naval operations, the chairman and vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff, the master chief petty officer of the Navy and numerous other dignitaries," according to the band website
