The Clifton Film Festival is This Saturday at the Workhouse Arts Center

Are you a movie buff? This Saturday, the  Clifton Film Fest will be held rain or shine outside at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton.

The day of independent films will feature food from Uncle Fred's BBQ smoke shack, an Ice cream truck and live music from the band "Pearl and the Beard".

"We also will have a new and improved VIP room for the filmmakers and Kickstarter donators to mingle and get snacks for the film," said festival founder Dani Weinberg.

Last month, the festival barely made its fundraising goal. The $1,500 Kickstarter goal was reached, and at the end of the day, 17 backers contributed $1,501.

Admission is $5 per person for the day showing at 4:00 p.m. and $10 for the evening program on the Workhouse quad at 7:30 p.m.
