Art Out Loud 2011 - A Fusion of Art and Music

Come to the Workhouse in Lorton Va. On Saturday, July 16th from 6-9pm for a free evening of live music and art! "Art Out Loud 2011...a fusion of Art and Music" is blend of visual and musical works that celebrate the passion and value of the art in our lives.

The event will feature the imagery of Mary Gallagher Stout and an eclectic alternative rock lineup including: Big Green Cherry, Starryville, Euphonic Film, and Philadelphia’s Woodland String Band.

Each band will play original music inspired by Mary’s artwork. In addition, Mary’s latest series will be on exhibit and the audience will get a sneak peek of images to be published in her upcoming book: REAL Life Drawing, My Eye on the Philadelphia Mummers, which is scheduled for release in August 2011.

Guests will be able to enjoy pay-as-you-go lite fare and there will certainly be a cash bar.
