Yard Sales This Weekend in Lorton

It's yard sale season and who knows? You just might find a treasure among the many books, toys, furniture and other items up for grabs.

Patch compiled the following Lorton-area sales from craigslist and other online sites that specialize in local yard sales and garage sales:

Saturday:

Blue Rock Lane at Southrun Road: Multi-family yard sale from 8-11 a.m. "Great deals," "all must go" and "make an offer."

8919 Sylvania St. (Pohick Road between Route 1 and Lorton Station Boulevard): From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., this sale offers "cheap, cheap, cheap" prices on toys, books, games, antiques and collectibles.

Lorton Road and Timarand Road: No time was listed in this ad, but this multi-family yard sale promises a "Christmas in July" theme with Christmas items, pet clothes and Redskins memorabilia.

7504 Devries Drive: This sale will be held both Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers say the sale will feature items from a recently closed store. Some of the goods on sale: pickles, peanut butter, dryer sheets and baby oil.
