WMATA Meeting Deferred

Missing info results in hearing being moved to February 22 meeting

Yesterday's Board of Supervisors hearing regarding the proposed was deferred until the Board's next meeting on February 22.

The reason for the deferral was the absence of an affidavit requiring the disclosure of affiliations in a matter before the board. Should a matter arise before the board where board members have an interest, it is expected that those interests are made part of the official record.

In the case of the WMATA site, Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay and Hunter Mill District Supervisor Catharine Hudgins are both members of WMATA's Board of Directors. McKay asked that this fact be added as an affidavit in advance of the next meeting.
