From Jeanette at Great Harvest in Lorton Station Town Center: "Our store is open today from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. We decided that with power still out in a number of homes, we would be a cool (AC) place to recharge folks and phones. Also, with the Federal Government encouraging telecommuting today, our WiFi is up and running." Thank you, Jeanette!

From Sally Spangler: I'm here on Belmont Park Estates - I think we all have our power back after a couple of false starts yesterday afternoon. Virginia Power called my neighbor to announce that he had power. He didn't, so he called me,I did, but mine is a generator (Thank God) So he called VA PWR and told them no power. The power went back on sometime in the mid afternoon! MNCA reported today that VA PWR trucks were on Gunston Road this morning. I hope they are once more with eletrcity! Regards, Sally
