Busy: That's how you'd describe Lorton Station Elementary School on Tuesday, September 6. It's the day after Labor Day and you know what that means - the first day of school. So much for sleeping late, eating junk food and playing video games.

Lorton Station Elementary, which opened in 2003, is one of 139 elementary schools in Fairfax County and has more than 850 students.
