Mason Neck State Park Garners 1 Million Votes in Contest

How will they win? You've got to vote and spread the word!

 is in the running for Coca-Cola's third annual "Live Positively - Best Park in America" contest. The park has garnered 1,296,544 votes and currently sits at seventh place. 

Mason Neck, which sits on hundreds of wooded acres along the Potomac River, is a habitat for eagles and other migrating and non-migrating birds. Voting takes place online, and the top three vote getters receive $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000.

Voter Eligibility 

Only legal residents of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia) who are at least 13 years old and reside within the United States at the time of participation are eligible to vote and or check-in. 

Voting ends July 15, 2012.
