Lorton Grocery Stores Well Stocked for 'Snowquester'

What did you buy in preparation for the Virginia winter storm?

Things were calm at the Shoppers Food Warehouse in Lorton Tuesday afternoon. Snow shovels were available, and full pallets of bottled water, ice melt and toilet paper awaited the evening rush.

"We got backfilled trucks coming in tonight to be prepared for the snow," said a Shoppers manager to Patch. "We reacted last week to the storm. Overall, Shoppers is well versed in weather conditions like this."
