Like to buy books cheap? The Lorton Library's book sale offers donated books for the lowest prices in town!
And the price for the books in the picture above? At $1 per hard cover and .50 cents for paperbacks (and you can buy three for $1) the entire bunch cost $5.
"You can find some deals," said Anne Heising, a librarian at the Lorton branch. "I bought these South African art books for $3 - a dollar apiece. I looked them up and they're worth $300."
The library, 9250 Richmond Hwy., uses the proceeds to fund magazine subscriptions, buy extra books for the collection and programming support.
