Grab the kids and go, here are five great ways to beat cabin fever this weekend

The warm weather ha eluded us again this weekend. If you are looking for some great indoor activities, Patch has you covered.  Here are my recommendations for the best way to spend time with your kids this weekend.

Saturday, February 26th

■ Find one of the in and around Lorton. Let the kids pick out their favorites while supporting a great organization.  Stands will be set up throughout March at grocery stores and gas stations.

■ , 10:00am Lake Ridge Park. Your entire family can participate in hands-on activities. This week’s theme is “Dream Catchers.”

■ at Borders in Woodbridge. The party starts at 2:00 p.m. with music, stories, crafts, and more to celebrate this huggable red character.

Sunday, February 27th

■Disney is back in town this weekend with . The show is at 12:30p.m. at the Patriot Center in Fairfax. Tickets cost $22-$50.   

■ At 2:00 p.m. Huntley Meadow Park is offering this children’s workshop on the clues left behind in animal skulls, teeth, and bones.
