• Where: Lorton Library, 9520 Richmond Highway, Lorton.
• What:  Applause Unlimited presents “The Ugly Duckling,” “Thumbelina” and “The Emperor’s New Clothes” told with puppets and masks.
• Cost: Free

• When: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Where: Bush Hill Elementary School, 5927 Westchester St., Alexandria.
• What:  Cub Scout Pack 867 is sponsoring a Bike Rodeo for boys and girls. Fairfax County Sheriff Bike Patrol officers will be on hand to teach bike safety and set up bike riding obstacles.  Representatives of Spokes Bike Shop in Alexandria will offer bicycle maintenance tips. Light snacks and water will be offered. Bring your bicycle and a helmet.

• When: Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday.
• Where: Prince William County Fairgrounds, 10624 Dumfries Rd., Manassas.
• What:  It’s the annual Prince William County Fair.
• Cost: $8 admission and $20 ride wristband Friday and Saturday; Sunday is half-price day, $4 admission and $10 ride wristband.

• When: Saturday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Where: Workhouse Arts Center, 9601 Ox Rd., Lorton
• What:  The 2nd Saturday Art Walk showcases the diverse work of more than 150 visual artists in a unique historic venue. Visitors can tour seven studio buildings, mix and mingle with artists, experience ever-changing exhibitions and buy original works of art. Light refreshments will be served.

• What:  Enjoy performances by the Quantico Marine Jazz Orchestra and the Vienna-Falls Chorus, Sweet Adelines International.
