All are invited to participate in our yard Sale. Revenue will be go to send needy kids to camp.
This is part of our Living Water Jubilee Celebration and we have many activities, entertainment and environmental and ecological awareness displays on hand.
Big Tent and Blue Grass Music! We will have one bluegrass band (King Street Bluegrass on Friday from 5pm-7pm) and Saturday we will have the Flower Hill String Band and The Unclouded Day band.
Chicken BBQ lunch will be available and served with roll, chips, baked beans and drinks. Proceeds will go to send local needy children to summer camp in 2013.
We will also have a bake table with fresh homemade items.
Games, activities, face painting, cake walk and Moon Bounce will be available for Children. In the afternoon there will be a historical tour of the Church and environmental workshops at 2pm and 3pm. Quilt Auction for the Adults.
We will have Green Earth and environmental displays and Missions on Water information under a Big Tent. You can join us and participate in sponsorship with a special hands on project to help others.
The event concludes in the evening with Evangelist Greg West preaching on Living Water and the Ghanian United Methodist Choir will lead us in worship.
Celebration will continue on Sunday, Sept 16th with Homecoming and a Potluck Luncheon. Worship will be led by Rev. Kenneth J. Jackson, Alexandria District Superintendent.
