There was not much crime this week in the Lorton area, but here's the incidents that were released by the Fairfax County Police Department. Derrick L. Royster, a 43-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., has been identified as the suspect in Thursday's burglary of a home in the 9200 block of Lee Masey Drive in Lorton. Royster was arrested a few blocks from the home shortly after 11:30 a.m. and charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.  Fairfax County Police were alerted of the break-in when the homeowner arrived home and found the alleged suspect leaving with stolen items. An 18-year-old Lorton man was allegedly struck with a gun and robbed while walking home Tuesday night, July 31, by two suspects in the area of Sheffield Village Lane and Sheffield Green Way, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The victim was approached at around 10 p.m. by two men, and one of them allegedly displayed a handgun. The armed suspect hit the victim with the gun and both suspects fled the scene with the victim's backpack and cell phone.
