No, ripping through the county and state rules, laws, and foolishness is maybe good for my emotions, but does not do anything more than that. So what do I really have to say?
Is this present depression with loss of pay and feeling of frustration and anger going to get over more quickly than 1929 to the beginning of world War II? Will prices of food and goods go down to help us all to pay for what we need? It did in the previous depression. President Roosevelt did a number of things to help the unemployed have some public work. He took Army officers, such as my uncle head up work teams to do things like make the Blue Ridge Parkway with its roads and parks. The paths from New England to South Carolina were made by those young men. He put together teams of workers, like my father to build places, like the National Art Gallery in DC. Another thing my father worked on were the steps leading down to the Potomac to a barge who played for free all summer long and continued those concerts, at least until I graduated from high school in 1951. Dad had been in the US Navy on a troop ship in WWI, but no real work knowledge to do more than that. Will President Obama do the like in this depression. I hope so, if work for the unemployed is needed.
Think Positive! WE CAN GET OUT OF THIS MESS!
