Webb, Warner, and Kaine Endorse Sen. Puller

Sen. Jim Webb, Sen. Mark Warner and former Governor Kaine announced their endorsement of Senator Puller for reelection

Sen. Jim Webb and Sen. Mark Warner, as well as  former Gov. Tim Kaine announced their endorsement of state Sen. Linda "Toddy" Puller for re-election this week.

Puller is running against Republican challenger Jeff Frederick for the 36th District seat.

Webb said in a press release: “Toddy Puller is an exceptional public servant. Thanks to her hard work and skill, Toddy has helped tackle some of the toughest challenges facing Northern Virginia—improving the Route 1 corridor, strengthening public education and safeguarding our quality of life.  As her friend for many years, I know Toddy to be a fierce advocate for Virginia’s veterans and military families. She’s earned our trust.”

“I have known Toddy Puller for more than 20 years and she is an amazing person and effective advocate for Northern Virginia,” added Warner in his endorsement. “There is no one who works harder than Toddy Puller to improve our transportation system, help our schools, and bring quality jobs to Northern Virginia. I urge you to join me in supporting Toddy Puller for State Senate.”

Kaine called Puller “One of the fairest and hardest working senators in the General Assembly. A champion for education and transportation, she was a great partner to me in moving Virginia forward.”

All three have attended or plan to attend fundraisers in her support.

Duh. There's not a person mentioned in this *news article* who is anything but blindly partisan.

Maybe we prefer the known to the unknown and untried. So where are you? Prefer the unknown and untried?

No, I prefer to vote by candidate, not party. I think the last time I voted all one party was over a decade ago, and I didn't notice until after my ballot was marked.

Known, but wrong, is worse, in my opinion, than unknown or untried.
