Visions for Vacancies: 7778 Gunston Plaza Drive
What kind of restaurant would you want to see here? Take our Patch Poll!
There's an open spot in Lorton at 7778 Gunston Plaza Dr., and according to the poster on the window it looks like a great place for a restaurant.
The 2,240 square foot location used to be a flooring company with a showroom. It is located between Gunston Flowers and the Lorton Barber Shop.

I don't know that we need another restaurant. How about a Hair Cuttery or Great Clips.

I agree with Susan: a good New York deli or a good coffee place..StarBucks? But definitely after some plastic surgery for the plaza. Long overdue!

I like the idea of a coffee shop since I'm always in them...and definitely agree with some renovation for the entire plaza too

Dunkin Donuts so we don't have to go all the way to Woodbridge or Springfield for decent coffee.

I think a Bagel place (Chesapeake or Einstein Bagel) for morning breakfast bagels & coffee and lunchtime bagel sandwiches. I also agree that a major clean-up and face-lift are way overdue at that shopping center.

Why don't you ask Polo Grill, The Chicken Place and Vinnie's what they would like to see go into the vacant location you have identified. They should have some excellent recommendations.

I too vote for a deli. But I have one request. The owner must visit Al's Steak House on Mt Vernon Ave in Alexandria and learn how to make a real Steak and Cheese sub!!

A buffet-type restaurant where customers would have a choice of many itemsl. Workers driving home each evening would be encouraged to stop for dinner.

How can Lorton Station Town center get a spot like this? We have two vacancies here as well as plenty of accomplished Real Estate Agents to handle the process!

Dunkin Donuts---The plaza needs an upgrade in a big way. Lorton is becoming a community of its own. People are moving here. I hope the mcdonalds is going to be renovated. How about the former sunrise center, what is the plan for that building. Lorton is no longer the dump or the prison. people love it here.
