Tito Muñoz Joins Romney National Steering Committee
Former 36th district Senate candidate will be stumping for Romney in the upcoming election.
Romney made the announcement on Friday, revealing his “Juntos Con Romney” committee which named leadership in Virginia, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin, reported the Post.
The national leadership pulls from members of Congress and governors, including Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), whom the Romney campaign said is being “thoroughly vetted” for Vice President.

Muñoz conceded the 36th Senate race to fellow Republican Jeff Frederick in August 2011. Incumbent Sen. Toddy Puller (D-36) won re-election in fall 2011.
Muñoz is a Woodbridge resident who became known as “Tito the Builder” after speaking at a 2008 rally hosted by former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
He became a naturalized United States citizen in 2008 and now owns a construction company in Northern Virginia.
