I had heard from my daughter in law that the Rite Aid pharmacy in Gunston Plaza Shopping center was robbed the previous afternoon. Scary for employees and customers alike.

We got a letter sent home with my son from Lorton Station Elementary today. I would encourage all parents to update their emergency contact info with the school. There were MANY parents in our neighborhood that did not get any word of the lock down until they called the school. Also, many are not familiar with the "Keep In Touch" system the school is relying on to send out these notices.
My understanding is that KC Pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint yesterday near dismissal time.
