As the 112th Congress convened in downtown Washington yesterday, Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly was sworn in for his second term. Surrounded by his family, Rep. Connolly was sworn in by new House Speaker John Boehner.

Rep. Connolly holds Virginia's 11th District House seat, which includes Fairfax County, Prince William County, and the City of Fairfax.

Rep. Connolly said "I am hopeful the 112th Congress will work in a bipartisan fashion to promote economic growth and job creation."
