Price of Stamps Increase to 46 Cents Sunday
U.S. Postal Service first announced the price change in October.
Dec. 17, 2012 is expected to be the busiest shipping day for the U.S. Postal Service as families get ready for Christmas.

The price of stamps went up a penny to 46 cents Sunday. The U.S. Postal Service also introduced its Global Forever Stamp, which allows customers to mail letters anywhere in the world for one set price of $1.10.
USPS first announced the price change in October.
Forever stamps are always good for mailing a one-ounce letter anytime in the future regardless of price changes.
