Congrats to Ashley Megan, who at 10:43 a.m., correctly guessed the location in our 'Picture This' contest of the week!

The photo was taken at the intersection of Lorton and Furnace Roads. Which one is the road less traveled (see our hint below)?

Ashley will be receiving a Patch prize in the mail.

---

Lorton Patch will give out a Patchy prize to the first person who guesses correctly. Guess in the comments section below, and if you win, we're pretty sure you'll be the envy of friends, neighbors and your family!

Here's a hint: Poet Robert Frost would have chosen one.

What happened to that thing? It didn't always look like that, did it? We noticed it looking strange just this week.

It kind of looks like you could hang plants from it?

James, the tentacles coming out of it are new. I think someone art-bombed it.

I took a photo of this intersection years ago with that object in the ohoto. I gave to Irma Clifton and she put it in the Suffragists Museum at the workhouse. That intersection was beautiful at one time - not any more - very sad!

Well, what do you think about it? Should the tentacles stay? I think they look pretty cool.

When Lorton road is widened this structure will most likely be removed. It should be given a home at the Workhouse....."old Lorton finding a home at the new Lorton."
