See people walking around with dirty foreheads today? Today is Ash Wednesday - and Christian priests marked their foreheads with ashes to recognize the beginning of the 40-day Lenten season, which means a fast of their choosing that is lifted on Easter Sunday.
Patch stopped by Pohick Church today, and afterward a 7-11 convenience store on Richmond Highway. We took a number of shots, but these two were by far the best.
