Today, Patch was working at Caribou Coffee in Lorton and noticed two students destroying fashion magazines. Turns out that South County juniors Kayla Graham, 17, and Cindy Mao, 17, were making last minute adjustments to their latest assignment for their Fashion Marketing class. The project - make an outfit out of recyclable materials.

"The skirt is made of trash bags and shopping bags and we use pictures and pages from fashion magazines to give it color," said Mao. "The top is just a black trash bag, but it looks like a real top when you put it on."

The full outfit will be displayed at a fashion show in class on Friday.
