Need a spot to crash? Visitors to Kingstowne and Springfield will have another hotel option by the end of 2013, according to a spokesperson for Embassy Suites. The chain is building a new hotel in Newington.
Located on Loisdale Road near the road's intersection with the Fairfax County Parkway by I-95 the area was the site of another hotel.
The hotel will likely be finished by November 2013, according to Embassy Suites spokesperson Maggie Giddens. Construction began earlier this year.
Embassy Suites is owned by Hilton International. The Newington hotel will join other Embassy Suites in Washington and Northern Virginia, including one in Old Town Alexandria.
