If we lose power and our Internet connections when Hurricane Sandy passes by the Mid-Atlantic, you'll want the Patch app to keep updated with local information.
Patch offers a free app for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad (available for download here).

Is there an Android app in the works? The current patch places app only has business listings.

There is an Android app in the works that will include everything the iPhone app does. Unfortunately, it won't be ready by the time this storm hits. We'll definitely announce the new release when it's ready.
