Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

He's 22 and lives in Springfield

A 22-year-old Springfield man has been arrested for the Nov. 21 robbery of a Fairfax Station BB&T Bank. On Nov. 25, Jeffrey B. Koch, of 8741 Pohick Road, was served with an arrest warrant after a tip was given to police in Colonial Heights, Virginia.

On the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 21, a suspect matching Koch's description entered the the BB&T Banks at 8920 Village Shops Drive and handed the teller a note implying that he had a weapon. The suspect, described as a white male in his 20s with a stocky build and sandy blond hair, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.Β 

Koch is being held in Colonial Heights and extradition to Fairfax County is expected. Β
