Due to the new food pantry, LCAC is able to make some much needed reorganization of interior spaces in the main office.  We have several volunteer projects:

Immediate need: 

Wednesday, May 11

• Two - three invidiuals capable of lifting and moving furniture (desks, file cabinets, etc.) 
• Availability from 2 - 5 pm

Thursday, May 12

• Two - three invidiuals capable of lifting and moving furniture (desks, file cabinets, etc.) 
• Availability begining at 7:00 am until approximately 11 am

Immediate need: between now and May 13 (ideal time frame)

Individuals with the following skills or ability to donate in-kind services/materials:

• snap-in flooring (trex,wood or other) - enough for a room that is 36' x 10'
• removal of carpet
• installation of snap-in flooring - please keep in mind this is an old house so nothing is square; patience is an important ingredient

Need in the next 1 - 3 weeks:

• 8' - 10' section of counter top (color doesn't matter!)
• ability to install countertop
• cleaning/buffing/staining of hardwood flooring
• plaster wall patching and repair
• painting
• Individuals comfortable performing the following tasks:
  • using hammers and crowbars to breakdown existing wooden shelving
  • carrying boxes/tote storage bins up/down stairs
  • assembling new shelving units
  • sweeping/vacumming basement space (high dust factor with this task)
